This time ticker is used as a time-tested method to visualize distance, velocity and acceleration against time. For example, hang this on an incline car on the ramp and you get a visualization of the acceleration caused by gravity, seen in the gap between the points on the tape. A vibratory beater prints dots onto tape using carbon discs at a selectable rate of 25 or 40 dots per second (depending on your choice). It can also be used to measure time in dynamic set experiments.
The time ticker is used with ticker tape and carbon paper discs. The device has a sensitivity to measure one-fiftieth of a second. It works with 12 Volt AC current and has a steel pallet adjusted to 50 frequencies.
