It is used to heat or burn small amounts of substances at high temperatures by keeping them in the ignition spoon. It consists of a 24 mm diameter stainless steel spoon welded to a wire handle approximately 380 mm long. An 80 mm diameter disc cover is provided for safety. There is a rubber stopper in the middle to keep the stem at the desired length.

This designed and combustion spoon contains phosphorus, sulfur, aluminum, zinc, etc. to burn metals.
