It is used in weighing with scales, in weighing chemicals to prepare solutions, and with hydrostatic scales. The weights are made of durable and nickel-chrome plated metal material. The weights are indicated by stamping how many grams they are. Weights are stored in an uncapped plastic box.

It is designed for use by schools. It is not suitable for trading and calibration transactions.
